1983-1987   Deutsch-Französisches Gymnasium, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.

1987-1991    Black Forest Academy, Kandern, Germany.

1991-1993    Interdisciplinary Studies and Political Science major at Miami University of Ohio, Oxford, Ohio.

1995-1996    Philosophy major/ French minor at the American University of Paris, France. Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude.

1999-2006   Masters and PhD in Comparative Literature at the University of Southern California with a dissertation entitled No-where and Now-here: Utopia and Politics from Hegel to Deleuze. Recipient of the University’s doctoral research prize.

Since 2001 Freelance writer, translator, and interpreter in Berlin.
